once upon a time

Here's a card i made today one of my lovely friends Emma has just joined the design team at LEJ Designs  . So to show her some support i popped along and bought the Lovely Rapunzel which is my grandaughters favourite story and here is what i did with her . I hope you like it . My hubby and my grandaughter do.

Card blank is an A4 size with a scalloped front edge from kanban outlet .

Pink card strip under scalloped edge is a capsule collection sheet from a docrafts goody bag ages ago.

Brickwork backing was a picture of a wall on a brick website.

grass is a vellum scrapbook border

Roses at the bottom were from my stash.

The gem flowers and the resin flowers were bought from e bay.

Butterfly is a papermania gemstone sticker.

Once upon a Time is cardstock stickers from the forever friends retro collection The Good Life

well this time it was the turn of the lovely oap to set the challenge and what a good one it was . Blogger was playing up so i probably missed it but no matter it was fun to do anyway.

Hopefully i got this right . It was a recipe card

Button challenge

Well i was recently fortunate enough to take part in the button challenge at crafty ribbons challenge blog

Here are my goodies

This was my first attempt as i had the ice cream collection of buttons. I stitched this teddy on the beach . The buttons in the flowers were attatched with glitter glue and you can just see it sparkle through the button holes.

I remembered seeing something like this on a blog ages ago and it was this one . Taking my inspiration from this and using card and flower shapes and ribbon from craftwork cards i made this and it got many admiring glances before i posted it . Buttons from craftyribbons. 

 This one was done with my big sister stamp from sugar nellie and my nesties . Flowers from craftwork cards buttons from craftyribbons.

First ones i had made for a while but it helped bring my mojo back.

Finally

After making no cards for months today i finally made one. I have been sorting out my craft stuff and started playing with the stuff i was sorting and i followed ct's sketch on mse and made this. It isn't very good but i'd almost forgotten how.lol.

Birthday card

Here's a quick card i made for a friend of my grandaughters and it's for a 3 year old.

Today the lovely dawnteabag set a challenge for all the non nec girls to make a card with a cake theme . Whilst googling for cakes i found two beautiful images so made two cards and i hope i've done them justice .

Well here's the card i finally came up with for this months challenge . Couldn't decide if it was too ott. my o/h thought it had too many flowers. And a little one for maddison to help her get better soon .
