Artistic Inspiration Challenge

This weeks challenge at Artistic Inspirations is Fancy Folds 

Here is my take on it .

Image is Birdhouse and Vines from Qkr Stampede 

coloured with promarkers then glitter added 

Papers from stash and blue card 

flowers punched with my flower punch then gems added 

Sentiment was a stamp i have

The prize is the fab images used by the DT in challenge 150.

I made a plate card and used the fab image Sianne by Kaz 

I coloured it with Promarkers then punched it out with a large 

scalloped oval punch .

I put a doiley behind the image 

Gems were attatched to the border of the doiley . Gems from the range 

I added Flowers and Leaves at the bottom. Flowers from wild Orchid Crafts .

Just Because

Here's a card i made yesterday just because. 

I was saying the other day to a friend that most of my blogging seems to be DT stuff lately .

So i thought i'd take the time out to make a card just because i love the images .

If you haven't bought any from here you haven't lived . The images are fabulous and they have something for everyone. Where is it i hear you ask . Delicious Doodles i've linked the store to their name . 

I love them and am lucky enough to work with Teri's images at Glitternsparkle and at One Stitch at a Time . 

Anyway Here is my Card 

I used an image called Sunset at sea 

I thought i'd give it to my Father in Law as he always says you can't beat watching the sun set at sea. 

Coloured with my trusty promarkers 

It was matted onto yellow card from my stash 

Then i used 2 shades of blue card and a beautiful blue swirly pattern which reminded me of the sea.

I added silver peel offs to the top 2 corners 

I then added brads with the letters DAD on to some pearl card then stuck that underneath.

Favourite Projects

My 3 favourite projects so far are 

My Dt make for an anything but a card challenge so i made a box to keep scan pics and other baby bits and pieces 

This is a stationary set i did for the lovely Aly when she was on create and craft to show off her fab stamps .

This one i made because i loved the image . 

My grandaughters head teacher had it for xmas and loved it so much he framed it. 

I love the Delicious Doodles images as they are so different to most of the other digis out there . There are a wide range on different themes etc and if you've never used them why not it's time you started . I have bought several and am also lucky enough to work with them at glitternsparkle and at One stitch at a time. 

A new challenge at Challenges 4 Everybody .

Today at Challenges 4 everybody we have a new challenge .

As always it is anything goes 

For this i used classic Marie Antoinette from sassy Studios 

coloured with promarkers and a little glitter glue added 

green and yellow cardstock for matting .

Challenge 20 at Glitternsparkle

It doesn't seem 2 minutes since we started Glitternsparkle and here we are at challenge 20 already. 

This weeks theme is ANYTHING BUT A CARD. 

For this i used an Image called The Greatest Gift from Sassy Studios . Coloured with promarkers . 

I covered a box and it's lid in some baby scrapbooking paper .

I made the little shoes from a sheet of yellow cardstock. 

Decorated the shoes with silver peel offs a little ribbon bow and a tiny pearl brad for the buttons on the shoes .

I matted the image onto yellow cardstock and secured it to the lid.

I printed out on the computer The Greatest Gift of All Congratulations matted it on yellow and secured that too.

I added a selection of flowers from wild orchid  and a couple of leaves. 

I had some fabric butterflies i have had for years bought from my local market and added some of those . 

For my second project 

I used Gaston Honey from Sassy Studios coloured with promarkers 

I made a box with a template from My Time Made Easy called Bloomin' Wonderful

I used lilac cardstock with white on it's reverse 

i reversed a piece and punched it with an ek success punch for the border 

added gaston honey and punched some flowers to decorate the side then added gems 

It has a large flower on top which is part of the pattern.
