Dalek hat

Well i rose to the challenge and fell to earth with a bump. I tried my best but this was the best i came up with. I think they are awful my no 1 son thinks they are cool  and my oh said it's alright. lol

Tardis hat

My dil Astara is slightly crazy i think lol. She told me recently she saw a pic of someone in the us wearing a tardis hat and she wanted matching ones for herself and her soon to be born baby...  This is the one she sent me a link to.

My oh and the boys laughed and said thats nothing like it so i had to come up with my own .

Here is the one for astara as modelled under much protesting by my no 3 son Daniel. lol

My oh and the boys think they are fab so i have now been challenged by them to do astara and the baby a dalek one as a surprise. No pattern so lots of trial and error . Pics to follow. lol

well this time it was the turn of the lovely oap to set the challenge and what a good one it was . Blogger was playing up so i probably missed it but no matter it was fun to do anyway.

Button challenge

Well i was recently fortunate enough to take part in the button challenge at crafty ribbons challenge blog

Here are my goodies

This was my first attempt as i had the ice cream collection of buttons. I stitched this teddy on the beach . The buttons in the flowers were attatched with glitter glue and you can just see it sparkle through the button holes.

I remembered seeing something like this on a blog ages ago and it was this one . Taking my inspiration from this and using card and flower shapes and ribbon from craftwork cards i made this and it got many admiring glances before i posted it . Buttons from craftyribbons. 

 This one was done with my big sister stamp from sugar nellie and my nesties . Flowers from craftwork cards buttons from craftyribbons.

I had a call from a lovely lady who supports carly's implant centre for a cake for her niece with a feeding set on . Here is what i did. Hopefully it'll be suitable.
