Fancy dress party

Kaitlyn carly and kobie went to a fancy dress party yesterday so we took pics of them and princess k looked decidedly unhappy and when we asked why she said carly kept trying to sit on her head shouting i should sit here. pmsl . poor k.

EAR TRUST

Sammi from janettes design team suggested a card drive . It's a fab idea and we will be absolutely delighted. Janette from stamping with the dragon/ Dragons den designed us a fab snail and then a super xmas one they are so cute. The digis can either be bought from me for 1.50 each or from here . Janette also has a fab slide show on her blog here which has some beautiful things that have been created with the images.

Thank you to anyone who has already bought it.

 All proceeds from the sale of these adorable stamps, purchased from either site, will go to The Ear Trust, to help enable people with profound hearing loss, to begin to hear.

Here's what i was doing instead of making cards.

Carly announced on friday that her dolly mary was cold cos she needs a coat so her mum looked at dolls clothes and nearly choked at the prices. So i looked in the craft room and found my long packed away knitting needles. I bought some wool on saturday and started knitting saturday night here's what i've got so far . 1 pram suit with bobble hat , 1 pair of knickers and matching vest , 1 dress with matching shoes/socks and headband , 1 coat with matching bonnet , all waiting for ribbons and buttons on their way from ebay also nearly finished an old fashioned full length nightie and mop cap.lol. don't know what carly will think.

Todays makes

Kaitlyn was off school again today due to the snow and she wanted to make something. We had a hunt around the craft room and found a wooden wreath with butterflies and flowers that we got in hobbycraft ages ago. So we coloured it in with promarkers then glued parts of it and glittered it.

Ear Trust

As all my lovely friends know we have been busy fundraising for the ear trust . The lovely janette from stamping dragon designs who designed our snail has been wonderful. One of the lovely ladies in her design team suggested we have a card drive so that all the people especially the  children who use the implant service can have a special card. Jeanette has also offered something special to anyone who sends a card . More details will follow. There truly are some amazing and generous people out there.

Princess k

Princess K went to a fancy dress party for her friend erin's birthday today . She loved dressing up as belle and wanted everyone to see her picture .lol.

Ear Trust

As most of my blogger friends know my darling grandaughter carly who's 3 is profoundly deaf. She had a cochlear implant op in jan 2010 and it has changed her life completely. She can now hear as well as you or me with her implants in. I wanted to do something to thank the implant centre and Chris Raine the amazing surgeon who did so much for her. I had no idea where to start but the lovely Dragonllew asked her friend janette from stamping dragon designs  if she could help and she did us an amazing snail digi which she has kindly given us permission to sell to fundraise . Janette also did our fab badge and she also did me a fab christmas version too. Both versions are available to buy for 1.50 each from me .If you wouldn't mind then i'd like paypal gift then we don't pay fees . I have now added a donate button in my sidebar to make donating easier . Please state whether you'd like the santa snail or normal. Here are a few examples of what i've done with them so far

Crafty ribbons goodies .

I went to deliver my t bag cards this morning and called in the range where i treated myself to some new goodies.

The two tubs at the back have foam shapes in for kobie and carly but as they were in the bag kaitlyn wanted them in the photo.

I got 6 packs of anitas xmas lazer stickers

4 packs other xmas lazer stickers

1 packet hampstead brads reduced to 99p

set of 6 the snowman stamps reduced to 4.99

papermania elegance goodie pack says 24 pounds worth for 9.99

they also had honey and hugs and secret garden both of which had stamps in.

Well i've spent the last few days painstakingly cutting card printing , punching , cutting etc to put together 110 t bag cards . Finally finished them tonight ready for them to go to a new home tomorrow. Now onto the next few hundred.lol.

Halloween Goodies

I'Ve been poorly this week but my new stampin up punches arrived a few days ago . ( Thank You Lisa) . So here's what i did with them.

The mini pumpkin and skull buckets were bought last year after halloween from asda for 50p a pack of 4

filled with body parts, choc pumpkins, choc eyeballs, choc monsters,

skull ring and spider ring . from home bargains, sainsburys, asda,

Hope you like them. wish i'd bought more than 6 packs now.

B'day card for dragonllew

Here is the birthday card i sent to jenny aka dragonllew. Hopefully it will have reached her by now. I love this image and kept it fairly simple but i entered it into the DT call at fab n funky. Doubt i'm good enough but nothing ventured.
